Stress raises cortisol production levels, which increases blood sugar, leading to faster weight gain. Stress also compromises the immune system. All of these factors contribute to making the body age faster.

You don’t need a therapist to battle stress these days. Apps for stress are helping people make a habit of managing stress on their own through simple mental and breathing exercises. Common sense and survival instincts should make you avoid the causes of stress when possible.

There’s no way to turn back time, but there are ways to slow it down a little or even take back some of what’s been lost.
