It is exactly as it says. Riding your bike at night. It’s simply amazing. That is why it has exploded from being just in London to incorporating other iconic cities like Bristol and Liverpool.

What is it? Simply, it’s riding either 50km or 100km amongst the twinkly city lights and blow the winking night stars. And it is all about charity.

Start training and enjoy the experience of laughing with others and supporting others. Join in saying “Wow” in unison and raising money for a worthwhile cause.

Pushing yourself to the limits is rarely as rewarding as hiking the 100km from London to Brighton in aid of the British Heart Foundation.

It is gruelling, tough, challenging and done over a 30-hour stretch. It can be done on your own, or it can be done within a team. That is up to you.

But however you choose to do it, know you’ll be doing for one of the greatest causes you can and getting fit at the same time.

It’ll be hiking alongside roads, through woods, down uneven paths and poorly lit lanes. And all in the name of those who need your help. Inspiring and motivating!

Be A Member of The Great Swim!

Land may not be your thing. Balancing on a bike for a 100km at night may seem unwise, and hiking may seem arduous.

In such a case, well, you are left with swimming. So why not take on an open water swim through England’s capital, some of the most iconic views and buildings surrounding you on either side, from the O2 to Canary Wharf?

What’s more, you can choose how long you want to be punished for; from ½ a mile to 10 kilometres, the choice is completely yours.
.
It may seem like madness to you now, and it probably will afterwards, but what a challenge to commit to, what a thing to be able to say you have done.

Swimming with other equally ambitious and screw-loose individuals around the docklands area ~ now that is the exact opposite to boring exercise.
